FAQ
-
What is Ásatrú atelier?
“Ásatrú” is Old Norse for “Faith in the Æsir”, the ancestral spiritual traditions of the Norse people, rooted in mythology, nature, and heritage.
“Atelier” is French for “Artist’s studio.” Together, they reflect my creative practice; a modern reimagining of ancestral stories through art. Learn more about Britta Follack here.

What if a painting is sold out?
Once an original artwork is sold, it will not be restocked or recreated. Each original design available for purchase is a one-of-a-kind, original design. While similar themes may appear in future releases, no exact duplicates will be made.
-
How long does it take you to make your pieces?
This depends on the materials, size, and complexity. Please contact me directly for custom work inquiries or if you would like a design within a specific time-frame. For additional information please refer to the commissions page.
-
How do you price your artwork?
Prices depend on several factors:
1. How much time and labor went into the piece.
2. Complexity of design and material costs.
3. Each piece is an original one of one; I do not repeat original designs.
For custom commission prices and information, please refer to the commissions page.

Where do you ship?
In-store shipping is available within Canada.
International shipping for in-store purchases will become available in the future. If you would like to request a custom commission and you are outside of Canada, please contact me directly. I can generally accommodate this, and can provide a flat shipping rate.
Digital designs can be commissioned and sold internationally.
Larger canvas pieces are available for local pick up only. This will be specified in the item’s description. If you are outside of Victoria, B.C and wish to purchase a larger painting, please contact me.

Custom work and commissions
Britta is currently taking requests. Additional information and the commission request form can be found here.
Depending on how many commissions I have scheduled, please note I may not be available to complete a request within a short time-frame. If you require a piece by a specific date, please mention this in your inquiry. I will do my best to fulfil your order!
TATTOO USE AND COMMISSIONS
I currently take requests for custom work and commissions.
Please refer to the commissions page for information and pricing. Digital requests can be purchased internationally as they are not physical items. If you have any general questions prior to filling out this form, please contact me directly.
If you are interested in getting one of my existing designs as a tattoo (not a commissioned piece), please follow these steps:
Contact me directly via email with the specific piece you are interested in. (Please note: commissioned designs are personal and may not be available for use.)
After your session, feel free to send a photo of your new ink, along with your tattoo artist’s handle; I’d love to celebrate the piece with you!
Please tag me when sharing online so I can receive credit.
